Summary:The knife with an extensible blade is formed by a handle equipped with a cavity in which the blade is placed. The cavity is open from its side adjacent to the blade tip. In the cavity, at least one guiding groove is formed which is blind near the front edge of the handle. Near its rear, blunt edge, the blade is equipped with at least one guiding member corresponding with at least one guiding groove of the handle. The cavity is farther equipped with an extending groove being open from its front side adjacent to the blade tip and cooperating with a connecting member of the blade. An extending member connectable with this connecting member leads through the extending groove of the handle and protrudes out of it when the blade is housed inside the handle.
