Summary:The present disclosure provides a priming device, the priming device including: a housing having a proximal end and a distal end, the housing defining an axial direction extending substantially from the proximal end to the distal end; and a membrane disposed at the proximal end, wherein the housing defines a fluid communication channel extending substantially axially from an interior surface of the membrane towards the distal end and a filter disposed at the distal end of the housing, the filter being configured to allow a passage of air. In another aspect, there is provided a priming device having an adapter.
