Summary:A computing system may include computational instances of a remote network management platform, and a central computational instance of the remote network management platform. The central computational instance may provide a chart rendering service configured to: receive, from a computing device of one of the computational instances, a request including (i) data that defines a chart, and (ii) a uniform resource locator (URL) associated with the chart rendering service; based on the URL, route the data to a rendering pipeline; acquire a worker thread from a worker thread pool; based on a pre-determined configuration of the rendering pipeline, the worker thread: (i) rendering the data to a graphical representation of the chart, and (ii) exporting the graphical representation of the chart to an output file and in an output file format; and transmit, to the computing device, the output file.
