Summary:The present invention provides an OLED element and a manufacture method thereof. A cathode contact layer spaced from the anode layer is provided on the substrate of the organic light emitting diode element. The cathode layer contacts the cathode contact layer through the cathode contact hole in the pixel definition layer. As the organic light emitting diode element works, the same negative voltage is applied to the cathode layer and the cathode contact layer. The cathode contact layer can directly provide voltage and current compensations to the cathode layer, thus to prevent uneven brightness due to IR Drop appearing to a large scale organic light emitting diode display panel. The manufacturing method of the organic light emitting diode element can effectively prevent IR Drop for the organic light emitting diode element and can further improve an uneven brightness of an organic light emitting diode display panel.
