Summary:A brake assembly comprises: a brake pad carrier supporting a brake pad which is movable relative to a brake rotor, the brake pad carrier comprising a protrusion, wherein a top surface of the protrusion has at least one notch comprising a first side surface and a second side surface facing each other; and a brake pad clip comprising at least one protruding part disposed within the notch formed in the top surface of the protrusion of the brake pad carrier, wherein the first side surface and the second side surface of the notch formed in the top surface of the protrusion of the brake pad carrier form an inner shape of the notch limiting movement of the protruding part of the brake pad clip in directions toward and away from the brake rotor.
