Summary: | There are provided various microfluidics devices. Microfluidics devices that include a culture area for mixing a composition and an assay area for measuring enzyme activity of samples of the bacterial culture are, for example, provided. The assay area may include an optical density reader. The optical density reader may include a light emitting source and sensor to allow monitoring of the optical density of samples. Microfluidic devices comprising a first plate comprising at least one hydrophilic site are also provided as well as methods of manufacture thereof. Methods for performing analyses of compositions on microfluidics devices comprising a plate assembly having a first plate and a second plate are also provided in various embodiments. |
