Summary:The present invention relates to a carbon nanotube fiber and methods for preparing the same. In one embodiment, a method for preparing a carbon nanotube fiber comprises reacting a carbon source in the presence of a catalyst and a catalytic activator to form carbon nanotube aggregates, contacting the carbon nanotube aggregates with graphene oxide, and forming the carbon nanotube aggregates in contact with the graphene oxide into a carbon nanotube fiber.
