Summary:The invention is a petroleum well tracer injection and monitoring method comprising the steps of providing a one or more curable liquid doped with one or more tracer, arranging said one or more liquid in an intervention liquid injecting tool, running the injection tool into a production tubing in a petroleum well to one or more desired injection position along the tubing, actuating the injection tool to apply one or more portions of the tracer doped liquid at said one or more desired positions, each said portion deposited to form a material deposition at a tubing wall of said tubing, allowing the well to produce and monitoring the tracers in the production flow and a tool to perform the injection.
