Summary:A system for improving the treatment of a patient's disease. A patient is fitted with a wireless motion capture device. A computer system receives the captured motion data other patient metric information and compares same to stored data sets. The stored data sets may comprise other motion data and/or metric data from the patient being examined, or captured data from other patients. The stored data sets can also be tagged with, or otherwise associated with, one or more treatment protocols. A model can be formed with respect to the patient's captured motion and other metric information. A probable treatment of the diseases, effectiveness of the patient's treatment regimen, and progression of the disease itself can be ascertained from the comparison.
