Summary:A wireless network system and a connection method for the wireless network are provided. A network device in the wireless network obtains the connecting route weights of a network base station and other network devices, the received signal strength indictor (RSSI) between the network device and the network base station, and the RSSIs between the network device and each of the other network devices. The network device obtains the routing decision values corresponding to the network base station and the other network devices and chooses the network base station or one of the other network devices corresponding to the highest routing decision value as the connection target. The network device can re-select its connection target according to environmental changes in the wireless network.
