Summary:A display device includes a display that displays a cursor, and a controller that causes the display to display the cursor based on information from a remote controller. The controller acquires display position information, angle information, first distance information, and second distance information. The display position information indicates a display position of the cursor of when the remote controller is oriented in a predetermined direction. The angle information indicates an angle of the remote controller of when the remote controller is oriented in a direction of the cursor being displayed. The first distance information indicates a distance from a first position of a device main body to the remote controller. The second distance information indicates a distance from a second position that differs from the first position to the remote controller. The controller controls the display position of the cursor.
