Summary: | An imaging device that is characterized by having: an optical system that has a plurality of lenses; and an imaging element that is arranged at an image position of the optical system. The imaging device is also characterized in that the optical system has, in order from an object side: a first lens L1 that has negative refractive power; a second lens L2 that has positive refractive power; an aperture stop S; and a third lens L3. The imaging device is also characterized in that the first lens L1, the second lens L2, and the third lens L3 are formed from a material that has a refractive index of 1.70 or lower. The imaging device is also characterized by satisfying conditional expressions (1) and (2). (1) 2.0 < Σd/FL < 5.5. (2) 0.5 < Φ1L/IH < 3.0. |
