Summary:A floating connector includes a base portion, a contact portion that comes into contact with a counter connector, and an arm portion that connects the base portion to the contact portion, the arm portion includes an elastically deformable portion extending from the base portion in a direction parallel to a fitting axis, a tip end of the arm portion extends in a direction intersecting the fitting axis, the contact portion is formed at the tip end of the arm portion, and the elastically deformable portion twists and deforms, whereby the contact portion is floated in an arcuate motion within a plane perpendicular to the fitting axis.
