Summary:Various embodiments of systems, computer program products, and methods to adapt database table to incompatible changes are described herein. In an aspect, a data repository is instructed to modify a database table based on a current definition of an element corresponding to a node of a data entity. Further, an error message is received when the current definition of the element is incompatible with a definition associated with a column of the database table. A check is made to determine whether an error is a data type change error by analyzing the error message. The definition of the column of the database table is compared with the current definition of the element when the error is the data type change error. Based on the comparison, the database table is triggered for database table adaption corresponding to the current definition of the element.
