Summary:A dental prosthetic comprising a pre-fabricated metal base and a crown, wherein the dental prosthetic is fabricated by a process comprising the steps of manufacturing the pre-fabricated metal base from a first metallic material, wherein the pre-fabricated metal base is dimensionally adapted to be secured to, and fitted to, an implant fixture, and fabricating the crown from a second material using a 3D printing technology, so that the crown is printed on the pre-fabricated metal base and thereby fabricating the crown fused onto the pre-fabricated metal base, and thereby obtaining the dental prosthetic.
