Summary:In some embodiments, a keyboard is located proximate to a touch sensor that is operable to perform one or more keyboard functions. The state of a touch sensor and/or interaction of an electronic device with the touch sensor is controlled or altered based on detection that an object is proximate to the keyboard. In other embodiments, input to input devices that are proximate are screened. The input devices are located sufficiently proximate that a first input device falsely detects input when a user is actually providing input to a second input device. In particular examples, a location of a user or other object relative to the second input device is determined using a proximity or other sensor. Based on the location, the electronic device determines the user or other object is in position to use the second input device and screens out or filters input from the first input device.
