Summary:The invention relates to a side grid for furniture or for a household appliance, in particular a cooking appliance, which has at least one horizontal rod for receiving carriers, wherein a drawer slide is fastened to the at least one rod by means of at least one quick-fastening element. The side grid is characterized in that at least one section of the at least one quick-fastening element is crimped to the rod by plastic deformation. The invention further relates to a method for fastening a drawer slide to a side grid.
