Summary:An information processing apparatus includes a sensor; a touch panel; and a processor coupled to the sensor and the touch panel and is configured to control the information processing apparatus, wherein the sensor is configured to transmit an interrupt notification to the touch panel so as to wake up the touch panel when detecting an operation performed upon the sensor, and wherein the touch panel is configured to: determine whether a contact with the touch panel has been detected when being waked up, and transmit an interrupt notification to the processor so as to wake up the processor when it is determined that a contact with the touch panel has not been detected.
