Summary:The invention is related to a process for producing a dental restoration, the process comprising the steps: -shape a dental restoration out of a shapeable material being placed on a dental situation to be restored in the mouth of a patient, -make an impression of the shaped dental restoration placed on the dental situation to be restored by using a dental impression material, -remove the dental impression material and the shaped dental restoration from the dental situation in the mouth of a patient, -place a curable dental composition in the negative mould of the dental impression material relating to the dental situation to be restored. The invention is also directed to a kit of parts comprising a shapeable material, a curable dental composition, optionally a dental cement, optionally a dental impression material, instruction for use.
