At least one of an arrangement, shape, length, material and connection of the profiled reinforcement sections is configured such that the end faces of the profiled reinforcement sections deform or destroy a motor vehicle front wheel which is moving in the direction of a passenger compartment as a result of an impact, together with the components associated with the wheel, in the event of a correspondingly high impact energy of the respective wheel against the respective front end of the respective sill.
