The method includes providing an electronic learning server, the electronic learning server receiving, from an instructor device, information identifying an electronic course that is accessible on the electronic learning environment, the electronic learning server providing the instructor device access to a catalog of educational resources that are usable in conjunction with the electronic course, associating the at least one educational resource with the electronic course; and communicating the association between the at least one educational resource and the electronic course to a content store from which the selected at least one educational resource can be obtained.
