Summary:The present invention relates to a rotary oscillation damper 10, particularly for a drivetrain of a motor vehicle, having at least one inner part 12 that can rotate around a rotational axis M, at least one damper mass 14 that is coaxial to the inner part 12 and is situated spaced radially apart from the inner part 12, and at least one spring mechanism 16 that produces a connection between the at least one inner part 12 and the at least one damper mass 14. According to the invention, the at least one inner part 12 and the at least one damper mass 14 can be connected by means of the at least one spring mechanism 16 in such a way that the at least one spring mechanism 16 has a predetermined radial prestressing.
