Summary:A method and system for providing remote access to data for display on a client computer via a computer network is provided. A first and second server computer connected to a computer network execute a first and second server remote access program, respectively, for communicating with an associated first and second application program. The client computer, which is also connected to the computer network, executes a client remote access program for simultaneously communicating with the first and second server remote access programs via a first and second communication link. The first and second server remote access programs determine first and second presentation data indicative of an application state of the first and second application programs. The client remote access program receives the first and the second presentation data and determines display data in dependence thereupon for substantially simultaneously displaying the first and the second presentation data.
