Summary:A method for accelerated data transmission among electronic control units (ECUs) and/or measuring devices in the context of motor vehicles is provided. In order to enable an accelerated data transmission, in particular fast (low) event cycle times, a low jitter and a high data throughput, the architecture of the data transmission is split up into (i) a control plane implemented in software operating on configuration, calibration and/or diagnostics data ("CD" data), and (ii) a data plane implemented in hardware transporting measurement data ("M" data) and/or prototyping data ("RP" data).
