Summary: | This disclosure relates to techniques for enabling a sink device in a Wireless Display (WD) system to control operation of the source device and media data sent from the source device. In one example, a method comprises establishing a communication session between a source device and at least one sink device capable of operating in a Minimal Cognitive (MC) mode, wherein the MC mode includes one or more levels, receiving a signal from the sink device to activate a particular level of the MC mode based on trigger information detected at the sink device, and sending media data to the sink device according to an altered operation of the source device for the particular level of the MC mode. |
