Summary:The invention relates to a security tag comprising a substrate layer (10), a void structure (20) applied to the substrate layer and an RFID transponder. The RFID transponder comprises at least one semiconductor chip (43) and a dipole antenna (30) which is applied above the void structure (20). According to the invention, upon triggering the void effect, the dipole antenna (30) is interrupted, which can be determined by a reduced reading range of the transponder. A manipulation attempt on the security tag can thus be determined.
