Summary:A display substrate includes a first blocking pattern and a color filter pattern. The first blocking pattern defines a plurality of pixel areas on a base substrate. The plurality of pixel areas includes a first pixel area and a second pixel area disposed adjacent to each other along a first direction. The color filter pattern partially overlaps each of the first pixel area and the second pixel area, for providing tolerance against misalignment of the color filter pattern with respect to the first and second pixel areas along the first direction, thereby maintaining the reliability of a display panel that includes the display substrate.
