Summary:This document describes techniques and apparatuses for enabling control or use of personal metadata. In some embodiments, the techniques assemble a person's metadata from various sources on the Internet, present the person's metadata in a user interface, and enable the person to control his or her metadata by adding, removing, or weighting portions of the metadata. By so doing, the techniques enable people to know and alter their metadata, which permits them to tailor their interactions with the Internet or improve their reputation or security.
