Summary:A method for producing glass-polymer laminates is provided. The method includes applying a glass fit material onto a transfer substrate to form a coated substrate, exposing the coated substrate to a temperature above the melting temperature of the glass frit material to form a glass layer on the transfer substrate, laminating the glass layer film and a polymer substrate and removing the transfer substrate from the glass layer to form a glass-polymer laminate.
