Summary:A liquid crystal display is provided. The liquid crystal display comprises: a liquid crystal display panel comprising data lines formed in a line direction, gate lines formed in a column direction intersecting the line direction, and a plurality of pixels disposed in a matrix form in a cell area defined by the data lines and the gate lines; a data driving circuit for supplying a data voltage to the data lines; and a gate driving circuit for sequentially supplying gate pulses to the gate lines, wherein each of the pixels comprises subpixels, and a length of a column direction of each of the subpixels is longer than that of a line direction of each of the subpixels, at least two subpixels of the subpixels share one gate line, and the at least two subpixels simultaneously charge a data voltage in response to a gate pulse from the one gate line.
