Summary:A system for synchronizing data on an occasionally connected mobile device includes a mobile device with a computer memory storing a plurality of files, an application that causes a change in at least one of the plurality of files, a change detection module configured to detect the change, a message creation module configured to create and queue a message with information regarding the change, a network detection module configured to detect a network connection, and a transmitting module configured to transmit the message when the network connection is detected. A cloud database and a server that receive information regarding the change at the mobile device and also transmit to the mobile device information regarding changes at the server are also described. Methods of synchronizing files across the mobile device, the cloud database, and the server are also described.
