Summary: | Embodiments are directed towards providing a method and a system for licensing digital media items, including providing a search interface for a web browser, which enables a customer to interactively select one or more media items from a plurality of media items available for licensing, establishing prices in credits for licenses to the plurality of media items, determining cash prices corresponding to the prices in credits for the licenses to the plurality of media items, enabling a customer to purchase one or more credit packs, each credit pack including a specified number of credits for a specified price; and, enabling the customer to pay for the licenses to the one or more selected media items with cash, or with credits from the one or more credit packs purchased by the customer. |
