Summary:An electronic device with high electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection is provided. The electronic device includes a touch panel, at least one ESD protection element and a liquid crystal module. When an ESD event occurs at the surrounding of the touch panel, the ESD energy is rapidly discharged to ground via an energy transmission path inside the touch panel. The ESD protection element is connected to the output terminal of the touch panel in parallel to protect the electronic device and its internal circuits.
