Summary: | A procedure and device for electronically teaching the components of a structure and their assembly within a given framework. The procedure is exemplified by an electronic game in which fractions of a crossword puzzle array are filled by selecting words from a displayed list. Mouse-clicking on a letter of a word already entered in a fractional array causes the display of a clue pertaining to the corresponding crossword. Once properly filled, the fractions of the array can be arranged together into a complete array. When all the words have been entered, the operator is asked to match a set of clues with the entered words. The game may be played by several persons. The system keeps individual competitive performance scores. |
