Summary: | The present invention relates to methods for producing polypeptides or nucleic acids, in particular antisense RNA and hairpin RNA in filamentous fungi. The present invention also relates to isolated Penicillium promoter sequences and to nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the promoter sequences operably linked to nucleic acid sequences encoding polypeptides or nucleic acids, in particular antisense RNA and hairpin RNA. Furthermore, the present invention relates to fermentative production of small organic compounds by use of the Penicillium promoter sequences. |
