Summary:The invention relates to a dye of the formula I wherein the phenylene ring A is unsubstituted or singly or multiply substituted by C1-C4-alkyl, halogen, aryl, CF3, CN, C1-C4-alkoxy, COR1, COOR1, CONR2R3, SO2R1 or SO2NR2R3, wherein R1 is C1-C4-alkyl, which is optionally substituted, or is aryl, R2 and R3 are independently hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl, which is optionally substituted, or aryl; R4 is C1-C4-alkyl; X is hydrogen, Cl or Br, Y is OH or NHR4; and Z1 and Z2 are independently hydrogen or halogen. The invention also relates to a method for the production of the dye of the formula (I). The invention further relates to a colored polyurethane and method of producing the colored polyurethane.
