Summary:A composite web has a first fastening material in a first longitudinally extending zone on a first outer surface, a second fastening material in a second longitudinally extending zone on the first outer surface, and at least a portion of a third fastening material on a longitudinal centerline on a second outer surface. A disposable absorbent article has a dual fastening system comprising a pair of front ear portions and a pair of back ear portions formed from a composite web. The composite web has first, second, and third fastening materials. Each back ear portion has a fastening material configured to engage the outer cover and each front ear portion has a fastening material configured to engage the body facing surface of the liner.
