Summary:A heat-sensitive recording material comprising a support and a heat-sensitive recording layer, the heat-sensitive recording layer comprising a colorless or pale-colored basic dye and a developer, the developer being 4-allyloxy-4'-hydroxydiphenylsulfone, and the heat-sensitive recording layer further comprising a compound represented by formula (I): wherein R1 is an unsubstituted aromatic group, or an aromatic group substituted with at least one member selected from the group consisting of a methyl group and a chlorine atom, and R2 is a divalent organic group.
