Summary:A system and method of providing online live auction services is provided. In certain embodiments a client bidding module provide simultaneous access to multiple live auction events so that users can participate in several events taking place at the same time. Other embodiments include methods for estimating the time at which a particular lot is likely to be brought to the auction floor for bidding. Other embodiments include a web-based bidding module that provides access to a live auction and provides near real-time updates without needing to refresh the browser web page.
