Summary:In the present invention, a new pharmaceutical formulation with controlled release of the freely water soluble low-dose active substance used for at the most once daily administration is disclosed. The active substance is maintained at a suitable therapeutic concentration in the blood throughout at least a 24 hour period independent of the physiological pH value to which the pharmaceutical formulation is exposed.
