The chip is disposed on the cartridge, and includes a first conductor and a second conductor. The first conductor is in contact with the first kind of liquid, and the second conductor is in contact with the second kind of liquid. The sensor controller is coupled to the first conductor and the second conductor to detect leakage between the first channel and the second channel.
