Summary:An image processing device including at least one processor and/or a circuit to function as an acquisition unit to acquire an image captured by an imaging element and information related to a distance distribution in a depth direction corresponding to the captured image, and a control unit to control display of the captured image. The control unit performs control so a first subject region in the captured image corresponding to a subject within a distance range in which a distance is measurable with a measurement accuracy equal to or higher than a reference, and a second subject region in the captured image corresponding to a subject not within the distance range are displayed so as to be distinguished from each other, from a reference distance in the depth direction. A distance that is a target of the distance measurement is a distance corresponding to measurement points designated in the image.
