Summary:A flexibly deformable chain that includes connectors for electrical contacting. Each of the connectors can include a first component in which electrically conductive contacts can be retained. The first component can be made from a fire-retardant plastic. Additionally, a second component can allow mechanical connection of each of the connectors in the flexibly deformable chain. The second component can have an ignition point which is lower than an ignition point of the first component and the second component can have an elasticity which is greater than an elasticity of the first component.
