Summary:In an information providing device for providing information about a moving object which is used by a user by making an application for use thereof, the device includes a controller comprising at least one processor configured to execute: receiving a start and an end of the use of the moving object by the user through communication with a user device which is correlated with the user; and displaying information indicating that the moving object is available on a display unit which is provided by the moving object and which can be visually recognized from the outside of the moving object, in cases where the moving object is not being used.
