Summary:A patient interface assembly is configured to deliver pressurized respiratory gas to a patient's airways. The patient interface assembly includes a cushion configured to sealingly engage the patient's face, a plenum base supporting the cushion, and a positioning and stabilizing structure configured to support the cushion and the plenum base on the patient's face. The positioning and stabilizing structure includes a stiffened portion. The patient interface assembly further includes a removable sleeve. The stiffened portion of the positioning and stabilizing structure is inserted into the removable sleeve. The removable sleeve is configured to be secured to the stiffened portion of the positioning and stabilizing structure by inserting a projection into a side cutout, and the stiffened portion of the positioning and stabilizing structure is prevented from sliding out of the removable sleeve when the projection is received within the side cutout.
