Summary:In an embodiment provided herein, an injection simulation device including a housing having a proximal end and a distal end is provided. The injection simulation device embodiment comprises a plunger having a proximal end, a distal end and being slidable relative to the housing, and a retractable injection simulation member at the distal end of the housing, at least one biasing member associated with the retractable injection simulation member and associated with the plunger, wherein a first force on a distal end of the injection simulation member causes movement of the injection simulation member from an extended position to a retracted position, to compress the first biasing member, and simulate the tactility of an injection to a user; and wherein a second force on the proximal end of the plunger asserts a third force on the first biasing member to facilitate resetting the injection simulation member to the extended position.
