Summary:A portable information device includes a display extending over a first chassis and a second chassis, and a bezel disposed straddling over an outer edge of the display and a chassis frame, adjacent to the outer edge, of the first chassis and the second chassis and having a bending part. The bending part includes a first member and a second member. The first member includes first and second side portions. The first side portion is fixed to a front face of the outer edge and the second side portion is disposed to be relatively movable with respect to the chassis frame, in a width direction straddling over the outer edge and the chassis frame of the first chassis and the second chassis. The second member is fixed to a front face of the first member and made of a material more flexible than that of the first member.
