Summary:This application discloses an interface element color display method and apparatus. The method includes: obtaining a target image included in a to-be-displayed interface; performing color updating processing on the to-be-displayed interface, including: determining a first dominant color of the target image, determining a color type of the target image based on an area-based ratio of the first dominant color in the target image, determining a first auxiliary color based on the color type, and setting the first auxiliary color as a color of a foreground element; and outputting the to-be-displayed interface that has undergone the color updating processing to a display device for displaying.
