Summary:Disclosed is a washing machine having an improved structure of a damper. The washing machine includes a main body in which a tub is installed, a damper provided in the main body to support the tub, and a damper fixing member provided on a bottom plate of the main body to fix the damper, wherein the damper fixing member includes a fixing bolt, a first flange portion formed on at least a portion of the bottom plate to support one side of a lower end of the damper and provided with a through hole through which the fixing bolt passes, and a second flange portion formed to face the first flange portion to support the other side of the lower end of the damper and provided with a coupling portion to which the fixing bolt is fastened, and wherein at least one of the first flange portion and the second flange portion comprises a reinforcing rib to reinforce strength.
