Summary:An electronic device includes an open-close detector configured to detect an open-close state indicating whether an optical path open-close device of a film camera is open or closed, a displacement detector configured to detect a displacement of a movable portion of the film camera interlocked with a movement of an operation portion of the film camera, and control circuitry. In response to a detection result of the displacement detector, the control circuitry selects a measurement mode for measuring an open time during which the optical path open-close device is open, from a plurality of operation modes of the electronic device. In the measurement mode, the control circuitry measures the open time based on the open-close state detected by the open-close detector.
